What Went Wrong by Popular Mechanics - OPTIONAL

What Went Wrong, 237 p. Hearst Books (Sterling), 2011.  $25.  Content: G.  Whether Nature has her way, or man makes a fatal error, the editors of Popular Mechanics looks at dozens of different kinds of disasters – how they occurred, why they occurred and how you can save yourself when they happen.  The disasters are divided up by type, such as fire, hurricanes, floods, aviation, space and industrial accidents.  There is a lot of information in here for a student to digest as leisure reading, but if your science classes talk about these kinds of subjects (as mine dos), then this is a great resource to make your teachers look like experts.  MS, HS – OPTIONAL.
