Happy 1st Birthday Brady

Sunday was a wonderful day.  I was able to attend the first birthday of my goddaughter Jill's son, Brady.  He is the cutest thing and loves him some Mickey Mouse.  His grandfather went online and found a full-sized Mickey balloon that kept all the little kids occupied for the whole party.  His grandmother, Deborah (Dee), made the cake.  She runs a catering business called Your Day and makes the most amazing cakes.  She made my children's wedding cakes....and even mine(the second time around)....and I have never....and I mean ...NEVER eaten a cake as good as hers.  The cake itself is to die for.....they are amazing.  Well, for Brady's birthday she made her first fondant cake and it was too cute for words.  Of course, Mickey Mouse was the theme.  She also made Mickey Mouse ice cream sandwiches, chocolate cupcakes with chocolate chip Mickey Mouse head cookies on top, and a Mickey Mouse cake for Brady to eat by himself.  Jill has been a very good momma and has not allowed Brady to eat a lot of sweet stuff....so he has never really eaten one of Deborah's delicious cakes....when they tried to get him to eat his cake....he was not having any part of this....he wanted to get down and play with the other children and Mickey Mouse.  Oh well....that just meant more cake for us.....who know how good those cakes are....to eat.  Happy Birthday Brady!

A good time was had by all and Brady made out like a bandit.  He got some really great goodies to go home and play with.  Heck he got some goodies I wanted to sit down and play with.  Kids toys are definitely not what they used to be.   Happy Monday to all....see you on the flip side.
