Fear, Faith and a Fistful of Chocolate

About The Book:  "Are you ready to strip fear’s power over you and become the confident woman you were meant to be? Have you found that tolerating your personal fear monsters only makes them growl louder?  Okay, sister – take my hand and let’s boldly step up and yank the masks off those shadow-lurking, anxiety-churning, worry-generating beasts.
With her own brand of off-beat wit and wisdom, inspirational humorist Debora Coty addresses heart needs of women worn down by everyday fears – financial, health, relationships, loss, pain, the unknown, the what ifs …With fresh spiritual insight, Debora shares hope, true life stories, scriptural lifelines, and a few LOL’s along with simple, practical tips for sidestepping fear with faith. And a fistful of chocolate!"

About the Author:  "Debora Coty is an Occupational Therapist (B.S. From the University of Florida), a piano teacher, and a freelance writer. She’s also involved in the children’s ministry at her church (Bay Life Church) and is an avid tennis player. Her children Matthew and Cricket, have been a joy to raise. Matthew completed the MBA program at UCF and is currently employed at SunTrust Bank in Orlando. Cricket’s a Massage Therapist (LMT) and an Occupational Therapist (OTA) following in her Mom’s footsteps. Debora began writing to fill the void when Cricket left for college. Writing has become a passion and that can be attested by the many hours she spends each week hammering away on her desktop or laptop keyboard. Matter of fact, her first historical novel, The Distant Shore, was released August 30, 2007 and within three months had climbed to the top of the VRPublishing best-seller list!"

My Thoughts On The Book:  Each section of the book from Internal Fears to Faceless Fears lead me through ways to let God have control over my personal fears.  I absolutely LOVED this book!  Debora Coty shares her personal fears and her faith in a way that makes you know that you are not alone, others feel what you feel, and God is right there. Each chapter was just like a conversation with a best friend.   Her writing made me cry and then in the blink of an eye made me laugh out loud throughout the book.  Each chapter begins with scripture and ends with questions to help dig a little deeper in our fears. This book is a definite must read and a great resource book for times of need.  I highly recommend it to anyone who has a hard time dealing with fears.
