I got a Kindle Fire for an early birthday present from Tom. (I turn 30 on June 19th.)
I love it.
Natalie also feels like she loves it. She keeps trying to touch it.
I won’t let her.
Look, she took over my iPod Touch which I swore I wasn’t going to share.
This time I’m putting my foot down.
It’s MY Kindle Fire. I don’t WANT any stupid kid apps on it. There are kid apps on my iPod Touch. If she wants to play one, she can go there.
I know we want to teach our kids to share. But there are some things that you DON’T have to share. For instance, if Natalie has friends over I let her hide her favorite toys in my room. There are just some things that others don’t need to touch. Maybe that’s wrong of me. I don’t know.
But what I DO know is that the Kindle Fire is MINE. I will not have sticky, grubby fingers all over it.
For once, something will just belong to me.
And I’m loving it.
